How to Get Your Photo URL on Flicker

When your blogging it is an advantage that before we use our photo in posting in our blog we first upload it to a photo hosting site like Photobucket and Flicker. So that when our blog host encounter technical difficulties we still can retrieve our photos, it is sort of back up. But of course let us also back up our blog post from time to time. I was so naive of this stuff before that when we encounter technical problem in my blog The Postcard and Travel Lover all the photos was deleted. A lot of work should be done to upload all the photos that until now I was not able to do so cause I need to scan again the postcard. My postcard blog is all about my postcard collection so it is awkward on my side to see my blog post of a particular postcard but not able to see the photos.

Anyway, this How To's of flicker photo URL is more of a reference of me every time I forgot on where I will get the sharing photo URL. So you uploaded your photo in your Flicker account and want to share the URL in your blog post or use it as signature photo in one of the forum that you join. But you had hard time looking for the URL (just like me, I always forgot where to find it)

  1. Log in to your Flicker account.
  2. Choose a photo you'd like to share.
  3. Look at the lower right side of the photo and you will see an arrow icon (refer photo below). Just click it.
  4. You will see a link in BB code, HTML , embed etc. You can also choose a social media to share your photo.
  5. Choose a link/URL that suit to your site to display (refer below)
    6. Paste it yo your site and your done.
Hope this help.

How To Enable Comment Field in Wordpress

Making sort of mistakes sometimes are also good cause we learn from it, agree?

Just today my attention was called in one of the FB group that I belong that my comment field in one of my particular post in my Postcard and Travel Lover blog was disabled and that they can not leave comment. So I check my blog with the particular post mention and indeed even me can not also leave comment. It takes more than an hour before I was able to figure out why comment field was disabled. I am a self confess noob when it comes technical side of blogging. I never stop until I fix disabled comment field :P LOL.

So here how I solve it.

First, go to you dashboard.
Second, select ALL POST.
