Just today I bought my own domain for this blog. Since I am not a techie person I had hard time figuring out how to set it up to blogger. Thanks to google there so many tutorial I found when I ask him.
Here is how to set up your own domain to blogger.
I actually got this from godaddy site, since my domain was bought from them I decided to best follow their tutorial. So here it is.
- Log in to your Account Manager (godaddy)
- Next to Domains, click Launch.
- From the Tools menu, select DNS Manager. The DNS Dashboard displays.
- For the domain name you want to map to your Google Site, click Edit Zone. The Zone File Editor displays.
- In the CNAME (Alias) section, click the 1) www record. 2) add: KWU5WFYFCHZ6
- In the Points to field, type 1.) ghs.google.com. 2) add: gv-SPSBSHBXMK3JIXACRTLMQ5U454WVTRCAMSP4NVH7IZ7UYEGUJZMA.domainverify.googlehosted.com
- Click Save Zone File, and then click OK.
Here is how to set up your own domain to blogger.
- Log in to your Google Site account.
- From the More Actions menu, select Manage Site.
- Click Web address, and then enter your qualified domain name. For example, enter www.coolexample.com.
- Select Add.
Allow your DNS changes propagation for around 24-48 hours.
